Dawn Finnigan

Dawn joined DHR in 2009 after a sabbatical from hospital radio 

having worked for another station during her late teens and early 20’s.

Dawn is on air Sundays at 2pm with Sunday Sunshine, followed by Front

Row Centre featuring songs from the shows at 3pm.  Living in the North East all of her life Dawn loves the area and never wants to leave, well, not for a long period anyway! She loves to travel and would love nothing more than becoming the new Judith Chalmers… she would have to take along her daughter Martha too though (who occasionally helps out on Sundays.) Although Dawn has an eclectic taste in music (or so she tells us) the rest of the team rib her about being a fan of Barry Manilow,  John Barrowman,  Joe McElderry….etc. etc.  But she takes it in good fun – usually.  Her interests include theatre, musicals, and going to concerts, as well as “thinking about” getting fit but has drawn the line at another Great North Run (eleven is enough.)
